A World of Tanks replay is a recording of a battle. The game saves the “scenario” of the battle in a technical form: which tanks went where, how and what they fired, and so on. When watching a replay, the game reads this “script” and knows what to show and when. The entire image is created by game resources, and the replay file itself takes no more than 3 megabytes.
